Having dinner together with your family is always pleasant and refreshing. It helps in strengthening the bonds within the family. Moreover, if you make it a ritual to have dinner together every night, it is excellent for the children as well.

In my family, we always had our dinner together, and it was always marked as family time for me. I am sure many of you must have some fond memories of having dinner with family.

However, with our busy lives in present times, it becomes challenging to cook dinner every day while also ensuring that it is healthy. Therefore, I came up with a few hacks for easy and healthy dinner ideas for family. These ideas help me cook quickly and healthy while also maintaining the taste, so the kids love it.

1. Pizza on Leftover Paratha

This is one of my favorite easy and healthy dinner ideas for family because it can be made in no time, and everyone in the family loves it.

When I make paratha or the Indian flatbread, I make some extra, so I can use them for making pizzas the next day.

You need to add some tomato paste on it with Capsicum, Corn, Jalapeno, Onions, Tomatoes, and as many vegetables as you want. Then, you top it up with some cheese and put it in the oven for 10–15 minutes. It is rich in fibers, thanks to all the vegetables, and everyone loves it.

2. Chana Masala

Chana Masala, popularly known as Chole or Chickpea Curry, is also one of the most popular easy and healthy dinner ideas for family. You can make it healthier by adding some roasted vegetables like Broccoli, Spinach, and Cauliflower florets. It takes 15 minutes to make it.

You need to add a little bit of Oil, Onion, Tomatoes, and some Spices along with Boiled Chickpeas in a pressure cooker. Leave it for 10–15 minutes. Once it is ready, you can add the roasted vegetables, as mentioned here, or the ones of your choice. You can serve it with brown rice or any other rice of your choice. It is easy and tasty!

3. Quick and Easy Chicken Fajitas

Chicken Fajitas also makes it to my list of easy and healthy dinner ideas for family because it can be made in no time, and your family will love it.

You can prepare spicy chicken on the sides with the choice of your spices. I try to add some capsicum to give it a special taste. Then, you can assemble it on the readymade fajita bread along with some spiced up and finely chopped Onion, Tomato, and Cilantro Leaves. Later, you can add the sauces of your choice, including Barbeque Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Mayonnaise, Chili Sauce or anything that you and your family loves.

4. Healthy Dinner Bowls

This is the absolute favorite of my family because it is a colorful bowl loaded with protein, vitamins, carbs, and everything you need to make a healthy dinner. You can make it with the vegetables of your choice. You can add some Meat, Quinoa, Rice, Salad and everything that appeals to you and your family. You can even use the leftovers from last night. They are easy to make yet loaded with goodness.
